Job SummaryCook Children's Health Care System is looking for a Director of their Hematology/Oncology Center in Fort Worth, TX.The Director facilitates teamwork and serves as a liaison between various departments throughout the Healthcare System. The Director advocates for an environment that promotes high patient care standards and implements strategies to ensure patient and physician satisfaction. The Director has the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of patient care and oversight of nursing/staff practice, personnel management, and overall staff development within all areas of the program. Assumes the responsibility for all aspects of business conducted within the H/O Center; thoroughly understands and monitors financial performance of units/departments. Will conduct self with a team-orientation, professionalism, and demonstrate appropriate decision-making abilities based on evidenced based practice. Current RN licensure-Texas A minimum of five years nursing experience, which include 3 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology and 2 years in management.
