Accountable clinical, fiscal and service quality outcome c within the overall guidelines set by the Department Director. Provides direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to professional personnel of the inpatient units of the hospital. Supports the professional practice model, standards of nursing practice and the legal and industry standards related to the Service Line.
Performs other duties as assigned.II. Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications for the position)/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana RN licensure, BLS, PALS certification preferredA. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred,B. Experience: Three to five years of current pediatric clinical practice experience in various practice areas (PICU, NICU, floor experience).
Management experience strongly preferredC. Special qualifications: Must be able to effectively lead and mentor staff, must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, a strong commitment to the profession of nursing and outstanding customer service.D. Hours of work: As required.
