Further informations about this job opportunity please read the description below. Looking for a sixth BC/BE neonatologist to join a growing, well-established practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. The group practices in a 50-bed NICU at Women†s and Children†s Hospital. The unit is the only one in Lafayette parish designated with a Level-III regional status, a distinction shared by only six other NICUs in the state. The hospital offers a full range of 19 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists including perinatology, pediatric surgery, pediatric neurosurgery and in-house neonatal nurse practitioners. Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide. Lafayette is known as the heartbeat of Acadiana, a region where you can truly feel the pulse of Cajun Country. From New Orleans, Acadiana is the area that extends west to the Texas border along the Gulf of Mexico and northwest about 200 miles inland to Alexandria., Lafayette holds many year-round festivals including Mardi Gras, the second largest celebration in Louisiana.
