The Respiratory Therapy department participates in the provision of patient care to four 12-bed intensive care units, (MICU, CCU, SICU, and PICU), a 16 bed respiratory care unit, as well as multiple pediatric and adult patients located in various inpatient units throughout one of the largest medical centers in the southeastern United States. Opportunities to utilize or enhance your clinical skills are readily available. In addition, Our Lady of the Lake serves as a clinical site for several educational programs. The regular rotation of students within the department offers our staff the option to participate in the development of the next generation of therapists.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Associate's Degree or equivalent (10 years experience as a licensed therapist substituted for Associates Degree)
! Required Certification/Registration
Louisiana Licensed Re! spiratory Therapist or permit issued by LSBME and BLS certification
