Description: Louisiana Department of State Civil Service is currently interviewing Nursing Program Instructor - Pediatric right now, this position will be presented in Louisiana. Current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in L! ouisiana. Current BLS Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer. Instructor certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting prior to appointment. College level nursing education teaching experience preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well with students and other faculty. Exceptional knowledge in the areas of pediatric nursing. Exceptional organizational skills necessary to coordinate clinical experiences for Associate Degree Nursing students. Ability to assess student performance in the laboratory, classroom, and clinical setting. Competence in the use of computer technology to deliver instruction.
Anticipated start date is August 15, 2013.
