Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse - (Peds ER RN - Pedi ER RN)

In an environment that seeks to involve families in each step of the healing process, this Pediatric (PED) unit services thousands of children annually. Join a team of highly passionate physicians and nurses in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care for children aged through 18.
The pediatric emergency room nurse (Pedi ER RN) provides care to patients ranging from newborns to 18 years of age who need immediate care for conditions such as seizures, diabetes, asthma, hemophilia, appendicitis, metabolic diseases, lacerations, fractures, oncologic emergencies, psychiatric crises, and other illnesses. The pediatric ER nurse performs assessments and examinations, administers medications, starts IVs, performs catheterizations and CPR, and assists with splinting broken bones, in addition to other duties, working closely with the patients’ families in the process. The pediatric ER unit may also serve ! as the pediatric burn and/or trauma center.
Required ! Qualifications

3 years experience
PALS/CPR certified
