Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:
Acute
Home health
Long-term care
Outpatient
Pediatric
Psychiatry
Rehabilitation
School

Required Qualifications

Interested candidates must have 1+ years of experience

Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a SLP and/or registered as a Speech La! nguage Pathologist per state requirements
