Staff Physician
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Description: Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center is hiring Staff Physician right now, this position will be delegated in Louisiana. Provides direct patient care and emergency services in an effort to ensure that patient health care needs are met at all times. The Staff Physician assists in developing and impleme! nting continuous quality improvement programs, ensures the application of departmental and hospital policies and procedures, investigates new techniques and practices, and serves on administrative committees in an effort to ensure that all services provided are of the highest quality. Other responsibilities include collaborating with other physicians regarding quality patient care, striving to promote personal performance quality by attending professional conferences, and participating in educational programs and training sessions.
Prefer candidate to be a Peds ER Fellowship trained physician or a board certified pediatrician with emergency medicine experience. The position will entail supervision of residents, both pediatric and emergency medicine, as well as medical students.
Other responsibilities include collaborating with other physicians regarding quality patient care, striving to promote personal performance quality by attending professional confere! nces, and participating in educational programs and training s! essions.
