RN/Staff Nurse

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

• Degree from accredited school of nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Basic Life Support
• Licensed in the State of Louisiana or eligible
• Pediatric Advanced L! ife Support
• Registered Nurse
• 1-3 years experience is preferred

The purpose of the job is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care based on standards of care and the policies of Touro Infirmary. The RN/Staff delegates to professional and non-professional personnel involved in the delivery of patient care.
Minimum of one - two years acute care RN experience preferred. ED/critical care experience preferred. ACLS certification required.
Non-violent Crises Intervention Certification thru Crises Prevention Institute required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
Current Louisiana RN licensure is required on hire. CPR certification is required to be current by end of general hospital/nursing orientation. Other Required certifications must be completed as follows:

>Experienced RNs who transfer or are newly hired will have current department specific certification(s) by 90 days following transfer/hire.
