Work closely with the physician liaisons and provide support that includes but is not limited to: Assistance with physician an! d patient issues Coordination with the medical staff office for outreach dinners which includes:
i. Working closely with the Medical Staff office to schedule all aspects of approximately half of the outreach dinners (Invitations, RSVP’s, restaurant selection, reservations, menu, prepare and arrange to have program printed, charter airplane when necessary, coordinate with speaker and one or two additional specialists, meeting set up, CME credit, handle registration, set up payment to restaurant, etc.
ii. Work with Public Affairs to develop and print collateral material each month for physician liaisons on a particular medical topic that coincides, where possible, with that month’s outreach speaker’s topic. When possible, include related articles in Pediatric Review and Small World.
iii. Coordinate with Public Affairs to develop a local TV and/or print medical/surgical story with a referring physician in the city where each outreach dinner is being held Assi! stance with scheduling training meetings for physicians, nurse! s and other care providers at other hospitals Arrange reimbursement for liaisons’ expenses based on submitted expense reports Verify their work schedules and complete their Kronos timecards Work closely with Behavioral Health Liaison and provide support that includes but is not limited to: Assistance with physician and patient issues Assistance with scheduling training meetings for school administrators, social workers, school nurses physicians, nurses and other care providers at other hospitals Arrange reimbursement for liaison’s expenses based on submitted expense reports Verify work schedule and complete Kronos timecard Maintain records of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Provide ongoing support to the Executive Director of the Immunization initiative Maintain records of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Provide ongoing support to the Executive Director of the Tooth Bus Arrange for salary payments to dentists from submitted worksheets of itemize ho! urs worked Maintain records of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Provide ongoing support to the Executive Director of the Miracle League Assist the Vice President, Marketing with special projects Provide ongoing support to the hospital lobbyist Responsible for the inpatient and outpatient questionnaires, which includes: Ensuring that the inpatient, ER, ACC, acute care, critical care, behavioral health and CHMPC questionnaires are distributed to patient parents, and are returned to Marketing in a timely manner Initially ensure that all questionnaires are inputted and appropriate reports are generated under current system Research to replace existing inputting system and implement an automated system for scoring all questionnaires Analyze and generate quarterly and annual reports Coordinate community health fairs Maintain detailed Telethon Excel spreadsheets and generate up-to-date reports as needed on revenue by national, local, clubs and organizations, special ! events, phonathon, and on-air categories. Provide assistance to the Vic! e President, Marketing with coordinating with the board of Ronald McDonald Charities of Greater New Orleans and McDonald’s Global during the construction of the new Ronald McDonald House on the property adjacent to the hospital.
