Description: St. Tammany Parish Hospital is at present looking to employ Community Nurse Educator (Nurse Family Partnership) right now, this position will be placed in Louisiana. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Nurse Family Partnership Home Visitor; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, minimum requirement is an Ass! ociate's Degree in Nursing. Also required is 3-5 years experience in maternal-child and/or pediatrics. Position involves making home visits to Medicaid-eligible, first-time pregnant mothers to educate and guide mother and family from pregnancy through the child's second birthday.
Must have own vehicle for travel, current automobile insurance and driver's license and current BLS certificate. Mileage will be reimbursed. Must be able to travel both in and out of state for training, expenses reimbursed. R.N. applicant must be able to work independently, yet work well within a team. The work schedule for this position is non-negotiable; the work week is primarily Monday - Friday; 8 hour day shifts.
