Job Details:
Responsible for providing patient care fol! lowing established standards and practices under the supervision of a physician. Assists physician, nurse, and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent and Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (or 1 year experience in a Medical Assistant role can substitute for the MA program)
Experience
1 year experience in a Medical Assistant role is required in absence of completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Required Certification/Registration
Current BLS Certification
