We are seeking a BC/BE pediatric emergency medicine physician or BC/BE pediatrician with extensive pediatric emergency department experience in Lafayette, Louisiana. Women's and Children's Hospital is a 150-bed facility providing OB/GYN and pediatric services in Lafayette and its surrounding areas. Work in a dedicated 12-bed pediatric emergency department with three additional fast track beds and approximately 28,000 annual visits. The department is supported by our two a! ffiliated pediatric intensivists and most pediatric subspecial! ty services. The hospital has a growing pediatric hospitalist service, (with our affiliated hospitalists), as well as pediatric outpatient sedation service. There is a 23-bed pediatric unit, a 51-bed regional Level-III NICU and a 13-bed PICU.
Located in South Central Louisiana, Lafayette is the state’s fourth largest city and is a few short hours’ drive to New Orleans.
