Seeking BC/BE Pediatrician to join Private Practice in south Louisiana.
Clinic is located in Hammond, Louisiana; about 45 minutes north of New Orleans and 45 minutes east of Baton Rouge.
Join 7 Physicians in clinic located only minutes away from the hospital. We are a 500 bed hospital and continuing to grow with the expansion of our emergency department from 21 to 35 beds and almost doubling the size of our 9-bed urgent care. We are the 2nd busiest ED in the state with more than 73,000 visits la! st year. Recently transitioned to the EHR, EPIC, this past Mar! ch in the hospital. The clinic is working to acquire an EHR as well.
Call coverage is expected to be 1:5. Saturday schedule is 1:8 (7:30am â€" 2pm) including 1 physician and 1 nurse practitioner. Currently each Physician has 1 Nurse Practitioner.
