Description: Tulane Medical Center is looking of Mgr-Clinical Respiratory Therapy - Full-time right now, this occupation will be placed in Louisiana. Provides direct supervision, coaching, mentoring and evaluation of personnel in respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary areas. Supports the professional practice model for the American association for Respiratory care. Responsible for implementing hospital and/or service line goals within the area supervised. Accountable for financial performance and service quality within the overall guidelines set by the Department Director .
A. Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana RRT licensure and BLS. ACLS, PALS, NRP certification preferred.B. Education: Bachelors degree required, Master's preferred.C. Experience: Clinical Respiratory Care with a proven record of staff supervision and three to five years of clinical experience in Adult, Pediatric, infant Critical Care and Emergency Medicine.D. Special qualifications: Business, finance management experience helpful. Major focus on accountability in all areas. Member in good standing of the AARC and LSRC strongly recommended. Must be able to effectively lead and mentor staff, must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, a strong commitment to the profession. Committed to outstanding employee engagement and consequent customer service. Committed to and adept at goal oriented outcomes. Familiarity with current Quality measures such as HCAHPS required with commitment to ongoing Quality Inprovement. Must be able to demonstrate fiscal responsibility in developing and managing budgets and productivity. Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period. Leadership cross-coverage to Pulmonary, ABG Lab and Sleep requiredE. Hours of work: As required. Floating to nights and weekends required. Visibility at Downtown and Lakeside campuses required.
