Description: Tulane Medical Center is presently looking of Peds Specialty Coordinator - Full-time right now, this position will be settled in Louisiana. The Pediatric Specialty Coordinator acts as a consultant, facilitator, practitioner and educator to variety of patient populations of the Pediatric Specialists. Responsibilities include education of patient and family and staff providing care to the patient, coordination of all aspects of care, advocacy on behalf of the patient, communication with all appropriate team members and with the patient and family where appropriate, and serve as a resource to staff caring for the patient. Performs other duties as assigned.II. Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications for the position)A.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana RN license and CPR certification.B. Education: Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.C. Experience: Previous experience in clinical area of assignment preferred.D. Special qualifications: Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period.
Demonstrated patient teaching skills and compliance with protocol management of patients.E. Hours of work: Shift as scheduled.
