PRIMARY CARE, BATON ROUGE OCHSNER HEALTH SYSTEM in BATON ROUGE is searching for a MEDICAL DIRECTOR of PRIMARY CARE. The successful candidate will lead six primary care locations including a total of 30 physicians and ten mid-level providers. Applicants must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and have at least three years of medical management experience in either a physician group or hospital setting. This position will include approximately 40% administrative responsibility and 60% time spent in patient care. Areas of administrative responsibility will include patient satisfaction goals, physician recruiting, budgetary performance, productivity, quality, and medical staff management. Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience and training. The Greater Baton Rouge region is home to six Ochsner Health Centers and Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge, a 201-bed facility.
