Duties: Utilizes the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Prac! tice Act. Demonstrates actions consistent with Ochsner’s Spirit of Caring Guiding Principles in duties performed on a daily basis. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for own practice. Demonstrates actions consistent with Ochsner’s “Quality Principles†as duties are performed on a daily basis. Serves patient-customers and physician-customers according to Ochsner’s Customer Service guidelines. Communicated summary of patient encounters to patient’s physicians.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
- Current licensure or permit in state(s) of practice
- Pediatric and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
- Telehealth nursing experience preferred
- Certification in Telehealth Nursing preferred
- CPR Healthcare Provider certification
- Must pass NLN medication exam
- Computer knowledge, including electronic messaging, internet s! earch, Excel, and Word
- Tact and positive customer-rel! ation skills
