As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for efficiently collecting overdue debts and managing outstanding payments. You will work closely with debtors, clients, and internal teams to negotiate payment arrangements and find resolutions to disputes. Your role will be vital in ensuring our company's financial stability.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact debtors to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and agreements with debtors
- Resolve disputes and address queries from debtors
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all payment activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and mitigate risks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of HBO studies
- Excellent communication skills and persuasive abilities
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle resistance
- Driven and results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving targets
- Good knowledge of relevant debt collection laws and regulations
- Prior experience in debt collection or credit control is a plus
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
